Thought up during the Covid-19 lockdown, when we recognised an opportunity to tap into the rosé market with a cool and affordable direct-to-consumer wine brand with free delivery to your door. break We immediately thought of the perfect friend to bring on board to help bring the amie story to life: PR expert, Hermione Underwood. The idea of friends coming together to create the amie brand quickly became a reality and the team managed to conceptualise, build and launch the brand within just a few lockdown months. space amie is produced in the French region of the Languedoc with the esteemed LGI winemakers, who have over 20 years experience and expertise in the science of tailoring wine concepts. Our White is a Sauvignon Blanc, with a touch of Gros Manseng; it is ultra crisp with aromatic fruit flavours. The amie Red is a Carignan; made from grape vines that are over 30-years-old, it is incredibly well-rounded and elegant with plum and blackberry fruit flavours. The amie rosé is made from 100% Cinsault, a grape native to the South of France, the wine is fresh and vibrant with bouquet characteristics, packed with red berry flavours and a touch of cherry blossom. all amie wines are vegan.
